Melanie introduces Yumenoko to dancing.

M: Alright, Yume, now being your big sister, I have to teach you that dancing is an important skill for all Blythes. Now look at me and make sure you learn carefully!
Y: *nods head*

Melanie lectures somemore on dance culture.

M: Shaking hands is important before a dance duel. You have to take this opportunity to feel the opponent's strength from his or her grasp.
Y: Yes, Ma'am!

The very first dance step.

M: Now I'm going to teach you a basic dance. First, raise your hands.

Yume tries to follow Melanie's demonstration.

Y: *follows Mel's actions*
M: Very good!

Second dance step.

M: Next, raise your right foot.

Yume successfully follows the second step.

M: Good, keep going!
Y: *beams happily*

Back to the first position!

M: Then, place both arms and your leg down, back to the start position.
Y: Hmm, this isn't as hard as I thought it'd be!
M: Of course!

More dance steps!

M: Raise your left leg up behind you ninety degrees now. Be careful to balance, as you can't raise your arms.
Y: Huh?

Mel explains once again the hard step.

M: Here, like this!

Yume: Like this?

Y: Is it like this, Mel?
M: Mm, that's right!

Marking the end of a Dance Duel.

M: And this is the end of the dance. When you finish, you have to bow with your arms by your side and your head down. No laughing!

The End.

M: Hurray, you've mastered the basic skills of a Dance Duel!
Y: Whee! Must we wear poufy skirts like yours in a Dance Duel?
M: .__.|||

origin

We spent an hour plus lingering in the doll shop contemplating if we should use our savings to get our first Blythe and upon seeing us so undecisive yet adamant about getting one, the shop owner gave us a slight discount which we found so hard to resist.
And that was how we got Blythed.

about

Hey there! We are two girls from sunny Singapore and would love to share our passion for Blythes with you.
Ever since we've gotten our first Blythe, we have taken an interest in sewing, knitting, making furniture and of course, photography.
This has also unleashed an inner feminine and fussy side like making sure she is carefully cleaned, daintily dressed, prim and proper.
We also hope to make Blythe friends locally and internationally.

Love,
Esther and Yin Hui.
