finally made sleep eyes for nyx!! :D
it was a very very stressful process. The back of her scalp has holes, scratches and i broke this thing in the hole at the back of her head, so she cant undo her sleepeyes anymore (hopefully its just that and not anything else which may hinder her!) :(

started by taking out the spring, and it immediately "boing-ed" back cos i didnt grab it properly. so spent the whole time trying to take it out but to no avail. then decided to open the head, but to no no no avail at all. so the back thing at the head broke and i could take out the spring >_<

anyway im really satisfied hahaha, after a frenzied day of posting questions on tib and waiting for replies, and trying to figure out what tutorials say about head opening (which failed miserably).

anyway i was very relieved yesterday after managing to put on a string to her spring and after that, gave her a good hair wash :D i sound like some old granny recounting how she spends her day.. and i also gave her new eyelashes so they are smoother than the previous ones. its the same pattern but its smootherrrr hahahaa.

ooh and i also sandmatted her finally. phew... wanted to paint her eyelids today but i realised i did not have any black paint. :/

i also thought of giving mel sleep eyes but i couldnt unhook her spring so i gave up, for fear that i will need to go through the whole tedious process again. X__X

when she got the paper, she was shocked. well, not really. she was prepared im sure. i mean, shinyx=smart nerd=know how to answer difficult questions.

its getting hot in here, so take off all your clothes. nah, being more conservative, shinyx removed her specs 8D

and that butterfly clippy thing, shaking her head wildy, tossing her hair into place. later she kicked off her shoes and invited her best friend to her place for a time of celebration.

"its party time, yo! cakes? drinks? feel free to eat whatever you like! live life like theres no tomorrow~~~"

oh happy go lucky shinyx and her friend were all so high after the night of celebration when licca-maid (SORRY LICCA! >_<) saw the mess, she smacked her head and grudgingly cleaned the place, while the 2 friends went off to the night clubs at clarke quay.

who knew shinyx was the partying type, afterall, "you dont get to see the tears character i cry am, behind these hazel eyes black rimmed specs..."

Today is National Day!

For some freaking reason, the camera hates Yume and makes her lips look INVISIBLE. She looks washed out. *cries* As you can see, they're decked out in WHITE and RED to celebrate the nation's birthday because they're oh-so-patriotic~ But you know Nyx, she JUST has to be emo and wear black. And if you haven't realised already, Mel has undergone plastic surgery and Botoxed her lips. You like?


To commemorate the one year anniversary of Blythed(lol yeah it's like 07-07-07) and the date is long over but who cares, this one year old picture is posted again to remember Mel being patriotic last year. ^-^

So anyway, today, the Blythes watched TV by themselves while I lay sick with fever in bed, feeling sorry for myself. Here's a snippet of a convo I heard while I was trying to sleep.

Mel: Yucks, this year's NDP sucks to the rucks!
Nyx: *winces* Use proper words lah. Rucks is not a word.
Mel: Some people use lah and they still dare to criticise others. Like what the shucks.
Nyx: *mouths Mel's words sarcastically*
Cerise: *points at fireworks* What're those? *nudges Nyx*
Nyx: Heck if I know.
Cerise: *squirm* *wriggle in seat* Mel-darrrrling?
Mel: *ignore*
Yume: *mesmerised by TV*
Cerise: Mel? Yume? Nyx?
All: HUH?

Okay this is so lame and so not funny. T_T

Today we went for a Blythe meet with a few other people and together we attended the Singapore Toy & Comic Convention 2008. All in all, it wasn't too bad although we had trouble finding out who was who in the beginning, cause we were supposed to 'congregate' at the staircase leading to Raffles City just outside City Hall MRT. It was pretty weird at first, addressing people by their usernames(Hey, SurrealDream, where do you want to go for lunch?) but we gradually remembered their names. So off we went~a noisy, awkward, hyper bunch headed for Suntec. The queue was...majestic. It reached the end of the level-literally.


Blythe bouquet. We were getting bored while queuing for entry, so we just whipped out our cameras and Blythes and snapped away. The one on the extreme left belongs to Evolna, another TIB member.

Oooh. I had a very hard time taking this picture cause they were displayed really high up and I had to tiptoe amongst the jostling crowd. Bloody hell. That's why it's a tad blur. Youtsuzu doesn't look as promising as I thought though; she looks a little shocked in the front.


I just thought they looked cute. :D

The registration counter for the 25 lucky winners of Dollzinc's supremely fair and just competition. It's a very posh tea party of sorts. Esther and I tried to peep inside but one idiotic guy came to close the door when he saw us lingering outside. Damn! And we were planning to crash the party!

After we got bored of the convention we went to find the other Blythe people cause we lost them along the way. Turns out they were outside the Blythe Tea Party place and taking pictures of Blythes and the Domino Effect. A while later, the mean woman from Dollzinc showed up and someone complimented her blue-and-white-print cotton dress that looked like it came from Far East Plaza. Esther tried to suck up to her so we could get entry to the stupid tea party by saying: Hello Auntie! You have nice shoes. Wah, LV! I wanted to say I just bought a pair of shoes like that from Chinatown yesterday but didn't want to foil Esther's plans. As usual, the auntie ignored us like we were insects or frogs, whichever. Anyway, one of the people(geraldine_angel) who came for the meet knew the Auntie and they chatted for awhile while we went to eat.

We had a very late lunch at Swensens and the total bill was purse-blowing, but considering that there were about 9 of us, it wasn't that much of a surprise. The convention was very crowded but quite fun cause we met alot of celebrities and all! I even managed to get a picture of ___'s butt! :P And Esther took a picture with Jon Leong and I took a picture with tokidoki man, Simone Legno. He was quite nice and obliging in person! We wanted to take pictures with the people cosplaying as Star Wars but they kept daoing us so Esther and I pulled at their capes and wanted to smack their butts. Obviously we ran away after that little stunt.

All in all, we had a great day and we hope to go there next year!
